Planica has a new world record again – Domen Prevc flew 254.5 meters

The 2024/25 Ski Jumping World Cup season concluded with a spectacular finale. Anže Lanišek won the final competition of the season, while Domen Prevc soared 254.5 meters in Planica, setting a new world record!

The 2024/25 season ended like a dream for Slovenia, as Anže Lanišek claimed his first-ever victory in Planica in front of 17,050 spectators, setting a new personal record of 247.5 meters and following it up with 241.5 meters in the final round. Domen Prevc finished second after flying 245 meters in the first round and setting a new world record of 254.5 meters in the final.

Andreas Wellinger secured third place with two jumps of 236.5 meters, while overall season champion Daniel Tschofenig, who had set a personal best of 239 meters in the trial round, finished fourth with two jumps of 231 meters.
