Austrians claim their third consecutive victory in Planica


The Austrian ski jumpers won the team event in Planica for the third time in a row, with Germany finishing second and Slovenia taking third place with a lineup of Lovro Kos, Domen Prevc, Timi Zajc, and Anže Lanišek.

Austria became the third team to achieve three consecutive victories in team events in Planica. This time, Daniel Tschofenig, Manuel Fettner, Jan Hoerl, and Stefan Kraft secured a convincing win in front of 19,112 spectators, finishing nearly thirty points ahead of Germany, represented by Karl Geiger, Andreas Wellinger, Pius Paschke, and Markus Eisenbichler. Slovenia, with Lovro Kos, Domen Prevc, Timi Zajc, and Anže Lanišek, took third place, trailing the winners by just over forty points.

Poland finished just off the podium, while Japan claimed fifth place, followed by Norway in sixth, Switzerland in seventh, the USA in eighth, Finland in ninth, and Kazakhstan in tenth.
