The Gorišek Brothers' ski flying hill successfully passed Wednesday's test, with Austrian Peter Resinger making the longest jump among the 30 flyers. As the last jumper in the second series, he landed at 234 meters. Until his jump, the longest flight belonged to local athlete Rok Tarman, who set a new personal record at 229 meters.

The excellently prepared Gorišek Brothers' ski flying hill was inaugurated for the first time by ND Rateče Planica member Lojze Petek, who landed at 142 meters. Already in the first series of 30 flyers, we saw some long jumps, with the longest belonging to Rok Tarman. In recent years, he had the role of being the first to test the inrun, but this time he jumped as the fourth in line, landing at 229 meters.

"I've often been the first to fly, but this time I passed the honor to Lojze, who is also a local and a member of the home club. It was only right that he got to experience it. I'm very satisfied with my jump. It could have been better, but I set a new personal record. My goal was more than achieved. The hill is in excellent condition, the workers did a great job, everything is perfect, and we can expect long flights," Tarman said after the test.

In the first series, other flyers surpassing the 200-meter mark included Jošt Sušnik with 218.5 meters, Nejc Toporiš at 203 meters, Patrik Vitez with 206 meters, Raffaele Buzzi reaching exactly 200 meters, Louis Obersteiner flying 216 meters, and Peter Resinger jumping 218 meters.

Obersteiner went even further in the second series, improving his personal best by 10 meters with a 234-meter flight. "Crazy! The take-off wasn’t perfect, but I knew I was a good flyer. At the beginning, after 50 meters, I had a lot of height, then I gained speed and saw the 240-meter line. My goal was to go beyond 230 meters, and I did it. Incredible!"

Others flying beyond 200 meters in the second series included Sušnik (202 m), Tarman (207 m), Toporiš (a new personal best at 214 m), Vitez (218 m), Jaka Drinovec, who surpassed 200 meters for the first time with 217 m, Ernest Prišlič (226 m from a lower inrun), and Obersteiner, who set another personal best at 224 m.
