Meanwhile, preparations for the biggest event in the history of the Republic of Slovenia are proceeding according to plan. There is a lot of snow in the valley below Ponce mountains, so the competitions in Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined and Cross-Country skiing will take place in a true winter idyl.
Around 1,700 representatives of national teams from more than 60 countries and more than 1,500 media representatives are expected at this prestigious sporting event.
