First qualifications out of two was won Ryoyu Kobayashi who flew 229 meters. Ryoyu’s 249,7 points were enough to win in front of Markus Eisenbichler, who flew 227,5 meters and collected 248,5 points. Third was Bor Pavlovčič with 232,5 meters and 245,8 points.
All together 17 ski jumpers flew over 220 meters. The longest flight of the qualifications belonged to Naoki Nakamura of Japan, who landed at 236 meters. Michael Hayboeck was the ski jumper with the longest distance of the day. He landed at 241,5 meters in the second training round.
10 out of 13 Slovenian eagles made it to tomorrow's competition. Besides Bor Pavlovčič, who finished third, Anže Lanišek (227m) and Timi Zajc (233m) were the second and third best at 7th and 15th place.
