This year's ceremonial announcement of the best athletes and teams in the country was marked by athletes from Ski Association of Slovenia. The sports team in 2022 became the Slovenian mixed jumping team - Urša Bogataj, Nika Križnar, Peter Prevc and Timi Zajc, which made history and won Olympic gold at the Winter Olympics in Beijing. Olympic winner Urša Bogataj, became the sportswoman of the year. Olympic medalists Nika Križnar, Slovenian ski jumper, and Žan Kranjec, Slovenian alpine skier, became third.
Preparations for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Planica 2023 are in full swing. Dolina pod Poncami is increasingly getting the image of the most beautiful venue in the history of world championships.
Day tickets for the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships Planica 2023, which will take place next year between February 21, 2023 and March 5, 2023, are already available. Ticket prices range from 15 EUR to 64 EUR for regular tickets – standing. Fans will be able to watch at least two competitions a day, follow an accompanying music program, and take part in many events at different venues. A special spectacle is promised at the Medal plaza in Planica Nordic Park in Kranjska Gora, where the medal ceremonies will be held, as well as the opening ceremony on February 21, 2023.
Together with the International Ski and Snowboard Federation FIS, OC Planica has carefully designed the program of the World Championships in a way that visitors can enjoy several sports disciplines in one day, and they will not be deprived of sporting pleasures even during the week.
