Heavy snowfall, which came in Planica during the day and is not expected to subside until mid-morning, has led to the postponement of the official test of the ski flying hill from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday.
Tomaž Šušteršič, General Secretary of OK Planica, spoke about the current situation in Planica: "Today is snowy in Planica, and this snow will fall at least overnight until the morning. The hill is constantly powered by a snowcat that maintains the height of the snow base."
The test of the ski flying hill will be on the program tomorrow at 4 p.m. Rok Tarman, member of the home ski jumping club ND Rateče Planica, will have the honor to be the first one who will fly under the flood lights on Letalnica Bratov Gorišek. Remember, Rok was the first one to fly also last year in March.
