Planica's corner opened its doors

In hotel Rey Juan Carlos candidates for FIS World Championships have opened its stands, where they will be representing their colours till Wednesday. At 9.30 PM team from Planica welcomed the first guests and offered them plenty of Slovenian delights, while the discussion was of course mainly focused on Planica's excellent readiness to host the 2019 Nordic World Ski Championship.



Members of the FIS Council, who will elect the winner, have gathered under the slogan "The place where dreams come true". They were welcomed by Petra Majdič, Planica's ambassador, who was taking care of a good atmosphere all day long. Franci Petek joined her and the others in the afternoon. In the following days he will help Slovenia to organize the largest winter sports event in its history.
