On Saturday afternoon, Planica hosted the 15th competition of the FIS Cup. The winner was Austrian Markus Schiffner, who prevented a real feat of 16-year-old Žak Mogel, fifteenth after the first round.
The winner of the first of the two FIS Cup competitions on 102m hill in Planica was Austrian Markus Schiffner, who jumped 100.5 and 98 meters and collected 246.5 points. In the second place, with the distance of the day 103.5 meters in the final round, was young Žak Mogel. In the first round, he was ranked 15th with 97 meters, totaling 243.0 points. On the same place as in the first round was Janni Reisenauer, Austria's jumper, who jumped to the final third place with 100 meters in the finals and collected 241.0 points. Rok Justin took the 5th place, returnee to the ski jumping Cene Prevc was 7th, Miran Zupančič 9th, Miha Kveder 11th, Jan Kus 16th, Andraž Modic 17th, Aljaž Vodan, Mark Hafnar and Blaž Pavlič ranked between 20th and 22nd place, while points were also won by Jernej Presečnik in 25th and Andraž Pograjc in 30th place.
