Ljubljana, February 6, 2007 – International Ski Federation (FIS) has offered Ski Association of Slovenia and OC Planica to carry out one more World Cup competiiton in ski-jumping. Therefore the valley at the foot of the Ponce Mountains will host as many as three competitions with the participation of the world best athletes. On the press conference the president of the OC Planica Mr. Drago Bahun said that the organization of such a big event is an acknowledgement of the work well done in the past and at the same time a great responsibility to keep the high standard. The programme of the event is now somewhat changed. A special emphasis should be given to the accompanying programme before and after the competition that will enrich the biggest Slovene sporting festival.
