After the FIS Ski Flying World Championship held in December, Planica is once again ready to greet the best ski jumpers. Sadly, once again without spectators, but there will be one additional competition held on Thursday. Program will start on Wednesday with two official trainings and qualifications.
Test of the ski flying hill will be tomorrow afternoon with first round at 15:30 and second round at 17:00. First one to try it will be Rok Tarman from home ski jumping club ND Rateče Planica. The 23-year-old was also the first forejumper at FIS Ski Flying World Championship in December (148m) and in 2019 World Cup (182m).
Also in the role of forejumpers there will be: Andraž Pograjc, Lojze Petek, Matevž Samec, Nik Fabjan, Matija Vidic, Ernest Prišlič, Luka Robnik, Rok Oblak, Marcel Stržinar, Patrik Vitez, Mark Hafnar, Aljaž Osterc, Žak Mogel, Vid Vrhovnik, Nejc Toporiš, Jošt Sušnik, Matija Štemberger, Gašper Sršen, Gašper Brecl, Jon Tepeš and Marcel Rep.
Head coach of Slovenian national team, Robert Hrgota, has chosen 13 Slovenian ski jumpers, who will compete in qualifications on Wednesday and Friday for the competitions held on Thursday and Friday. In the team are all members of the A team – Anže Lanišek, Peter Prevc, Žiga Jelar, Domen Prevc, Timi Zajc and Tilen Bartol, all members of the B team – Bor Pavlovčič, Cene Prevc, Lovro Kos, Anže Semenič and Rok Justin and junior members Jernej Presečnik and Tjaš Grilc.
