Frequently Asked Questions and Answers for Visitors to the Event in Planica


1. Can I buy tickets at the venue on the day of the event? 
    If the event is not sold out, tickets will be available for purchase at the ticket booths at the entrance to the venue.

2. Can I leave the venue and re-enter with the same ticket?
   No. The ticket is valid for a single entry only.  

3. Can I reserve a seat with a grandstand ticket? 
   No. Seating in the grandstand is on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. 

4. I couldn't print my ticket. Can I show it on my mobile phone at the entrance? 
   Yes, as long as the code on your mobile phone is visible and scannable by an electronic reader.  

5. Can I get a refund for my ticket if I cannot attend the event? 
   No. Refunds will only be issued in accordance with legal regulations and general purchase terms upon presentation of valid proof of purchase.  

6. Can I bring food and drinks into the venue?
   No, except for a sealed 0.5L bottle of water for personal use. Medical exceptions will be considered for beverages. 

7. Are dogs allowed at the event? 
   No. Dogs and other animals are not permitted at the event.  

8. Can I bring an umbrella in case of bad weather? 
   Foldable umbrellas are allowed. Umbrellas with a sharp tip are prohibited.  

9. Is entry free for SLOSKI club members?
   Active members with a valid membership card get free entry on Thursday, March 27, 2025, and one additional day of their choice. Supporting members with a valid membership card get free entry only on Thursday, March 27, 2025.  

10. Are children eligible for free tickets? 
    Children up to the age of 6 have free entry on all days. On Sunday, March 30, 2025, children up to and including 14 years of age have free entry. A free ticket must be collected at the ticket office upon entry.  

11. Is the ticket price the same for me and my child? 
    Children up to and including 2 years old have free entry to the grandstand when accompanied by parents or guardians but do not get their own seat. Children aged 3 and older need their own ticket for the grandstand.  

12. Do I need a ticket to watch the ski jumping hill test on Wednesday, March 26, 2025? 
    No, the test is free to watch, and no ticket is required.  

13. Where can I park if I come by car? 
    Parking is available in Planica until full, as well as in Kranjska Gora, Podkoren, and Rateče at designated parking areas. Police officers and traffic controllers will direct you. Public parking in Kranjska Gora is paid unless otherwise indicated by the organizer. Carpooling is encouraged.  

14. Can I take a bus from Kranjska Gora to Planica? 
    Yes. Shuttle buses will operate from Kranjska Gora and Podkoren without a fixed schedule. Free buses are also available from Mojstrana and Gozd Martuljek, with schedules posted on the organizer's website.  

15. Do the shuttle buses stop in Rateče? 
    No. Visitors parking in Rateče will need to walk to the venue.  

16. Can I walk to Planica from Kranjska Gora?
    Yes. There is a walking path from Kranjska Gora to Planica, approximately 5 km long.  

17. Will there be designated parking for disabled visitors? 
    Yes, but spaces are limited. Only visitors with a special parking permit may park in the designated spots. Registration is required via SHARE PLANICA  

18. Can I camp in the parking areas during the event? 
    No, camping and overnight stays in motorhomes are strictly prohibited. Nearby campsites are available in Gozd Martuljek - Camp Špik and Kamne - Camp Kamne 

19. Are special train services available for the event? 
    Yes. Ticket holders for the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup Finals in Planica 2025 can travel for free by train from any railway station in Slovenia to Jesenice and back. From Jesenice, free shuttle buses coordinated with train schedules will take visitors to Planica. Details are available at TRAIN TO PLANICA or on the website of Slovenian Railways   

20. Is use of Grills allowed in Planica?
    No. Open fires, grills, and any form of food preparation are strictly prohibited. Official catering providers will offer grilled specialties and other food at the venue.  

21. Where can I buy official fan merchandise? 
    Official fan merchandise, clothing, hats, and badges will be available at stalls in Planica throughout the event. You can also shop online at SLOSKI SHOP

22. When does the venue close for visitors each day?
    The Nordic Center Planica closes to visitors no later than four hours after the official end of the day's competition.

23. I lost my child. Where can I find him? 
    Immediately inform an event staff member (steward, security guard, police officer, or an organizer in official gear). Provide the child's name, age, clothing description, and any distinguishing features. Found children will be taken to the temporary Police station (a container at parking lot "B" near the military tent) to wait for their parents or guardians.
